Consul Typewriter Print – Vintage Czech Matchbox Design

$55.00$195.00

The Consul typewriter was made by Zbrojovka Brno, in Brno Czechoslovakia from the mid 50s and exported by Kovo to the rest of Europe.

A great example of mid-century, soviet bloc graphic design. Big blocks of colour and a simplified representation of the typewriter.

I have redrawn from this from a vintage Czechoslovakian matchbox label keeping the misaligned overprinted colour and the mistake in the red where it bleeds into the white of the space bar.
